Default BJ Christmas song on instagram?

JBJ just posted a message on instagram saying "With Christmas right around the corner, here's something to hold you over until then" And with that message there is a small video of him performing maybe a new song? From the lyrics I could make out " It's Christmas once again" and that sounds pretty high in pitch!

It was the end of 'Please Come Home For Christmas'

It was bad. His range seems a bit better though but his tone and pitch was really poor. Terrible quality too.

Yeah, the semi high note at the end kinda impressed me, but the tone and overall voice were poor and weak

"Semi high"? It was a freaking HIGH C, something that I think none of us could've even dreamt of hearing from Jon ever again - even in 2008-11. The last time Jon hit a note like that - screaming with rasp - was probably around 2003. I'm very impressed, and Jon actually managed to sing it in key. It was NOT out of tune.

Kudos to JBJ for working on his voice probably harder than ever before - after all the criticism I've given about it in the last couple of years, I'm very, very, very happy for his work paying off again! This actually made me pumped up about possibly hearing the band perform Hey God again next year!

That was ****ing amazing! He hit a note that I never thought I'd hear again... I hope we get some of that in these two new songs!!!

His pacing and breathing is throwing his tone off a bit but his rang is definitely becoming somewhat impressive...

BTW, I have not heard Jon hit that end note like that since MSG 1994

Yeah. When I posted my opinion I had literally just got off the bus and played it.

It's a very very good note that he hits. Really impressed. His tone is definitely off on it but he can sort that, I'm sure.

If he could do that in a studio... We could literally get another BOR or Always...

As I already said, he didn't have this much range even in 2008-11. Jon's voice is obviously still there - high register and everything. He just needs to regain the rest of his confidence and "uh oh, it's 1995 again"!
