While the note is REALLY high and perfectly on pitch, the tone of his voice is unmistakably the one of 2017. And if it was auto-tuned, it would sound very "robotic" and not normal like it does in the video.
Look, bud: Jon's voice, the range included, is still there. He has proved it on many occasions during the year, but the bad has largely outweighed the good as his voice has been terribly inconsistent throughout the year.
Trust me - he still has it. He may not be able to showcase it on every song anymore, but it's still there. I know it. Deep down inside I think we all know it. How else could you explain Jon absolutely butchering certain low-to-mid-range notes and then perfectly hitting the high ones on songs like Bed Of Roses and Lay Your Hands On Me even in 2017? There's no other valid explanation for it.
It's 100% a confidence thing, I'd say. The voice has gone nowhere.
