That high note is impressive IF it's indeed live, because to me the tone in "ONCE AGAIN" sounded different than the previous line, much like the high note before the LOAP solo does. I'm intrigued to hear the full version if it comes out.

If he can hit a note like that in a 100% un-doctored Facebook video without autotune, there's no doubt that his range would still be there in the studio as well. Jon even regaining his pre-April '13 range would literally have been an impossible thought for me just a couple of hours ago, but then I saw this video and BAM!!! We're back in the nineties, baby!

Once again, this reminded me of why I am a Bon Jovi fan. Jon's still the f***ing man - one of the greatest singers and performers of all time.

Holy shit, I think I need a respirator... my jukebox is about to blow a fuse! IS THERE A DOCTOR IN THE HOUSE???

While the note is REALLY high and perfectly on pitch, the tone of his voice is unmistakably the one of 2017. And if it was auto-tuned, it would sound very "robotic" and not normal like it does in the video.

Look, bud: Jon's voice, the range included, is still there. He has proved it on many occasions during the year, but the bad has largely outweighed the good as his voice has been terribly inconsistent throughout the year.

Trust me - he still has it. He may not be able to showcase it on every song anymore, but it's still there. I know it. Deep down inside I think we all know it. How else could you explain Jon absolutely butchering certain low-to-mid-range notes and then perfectly hitting the high ones on songs like Bed Of Roses and Lay Your Hands On Me even in 2017? There's no other valid explanation for it.

It's 100% a confidence thing, I'd say. The voice has gone nowhere.

You (and a few others here) are gonna look really stupid once the new tour starts and Jon, while may give us a couple of semi-OK renditions of Always, will once again be butchering Born To Be My Baby, Bad Name and others on a regular basis.

While that note was impressive, I'm 99% sure that was overdubbed. They're two separate recordings merged into one, meaning it's not live.

I'm not trying to provoke you, but I don't believe you. Call me naive or whatever you want to, but the truth is that Jon hasn't lost his VOICE. Is it literally impossible for him to regain his range? I don't think so. His tone will probably be pretty thin for the rest of his career, but if he manages to hit a high C without autotune, I think that says a lot. He's not done yet.

On the other hand, you probably think this is "Jon unsustainably putting on 120% effort" again, and it may be that, but it also reveals a fact that hasn't been provable in about 15 years - and that's Jon still having his range. His tone and breathing technique are still severely off, but he's obviously still got the chops to nail things (at least every now and then).

I don't think so. Why would Jon even bother doing an overdub for an Instagram video? Come on Those full concert recordings sold on the BJ website are a different thing, but as for a 20-second clip posted on social media being doctored? No way.

You're usually wrong most of the time so I'll bet on the 1%... It's apparent on Jon's slight gasp at the end and if it is an overdub like you suggest, where is it being overdubbed from? You think Jon's going to go through that much trouble to overdub a part just to put it on Instagram?

I do however think there could be some type of subtle tone corrector thrown in there just to smooth it out but that's it....

EDIT: The note doesn't really sound smooth, so I don't believe it's been doctored at all. There's certain roughness in his voice that tells me it's 100% live.

That's why I wrote "could"... it's just too good to be true...

I feel like today is a Bon Jovi victory...
