I find it amusing when I see threads like this, complaining about the bands choice in album tracks, single releases etc They must be doing something right, they've sold over 100 million albums. We are less objective than the casual fan because we've heard a lot of the demo's, the songs that didn't make it, and some are liked more than the album tracks. You try playing the albums and the demo songs to a more casual fan, and more likely than not they'll much prefer the hits like Livin' On A Prayer, Always, It's My Life etc
It's easy enough to say which songs you like more than others, your own personal preference, but when people say what they think would sell better it becomes pointless, as there is no real way to judge that.
