BJ on London NEWS local ITV uk 6pm now

I just heard from a friend that they'd been on... I totally missed it.

He said that they were talking about Bon Jovi coming to London in May to open up the new Wembley.

Was this not a new interview? If it was from when they were over to do Hall of Fame, why would they only show it now???

I'm confused, wish I would've seen it, I was at home at that time too....

The only comments about wembley were : feel sorry for BJ not being able to open wembley , and : Interviewer : do you get to play at wembley when it opens. ans I dont know if we will be alive when wembley opens !!!!!! This comment also proves it is an old interview as a few weeks ago it was announced that Muse were opening Wembley. The only reason I can see for them airing this interview now with a voice over at the end is London tonight have had confirmation that BJ would be back in the capital to promote their new album.

Thay have never said anything about promotion for the album. All they have said is they are not going to tour it.

there will be promo for the new album...maybe not a tour. TVshows..one off gigs!???!

I thought the only promotion they agreed to was in the states, and perhaps this was because it was a country album and country is not so big worldwide as in the US....Im just pelased they will be coming over to the UK so soon

I can't say that I recall Jon talking about what kind of promotion would surround the record. I think folks just assumed they might only promote it in the US.

I actually read this before on my phone (o2 site) in the entertainment news.

Yeah basically Jon just saying he doesnt know if they will get to come over and play there. He mentioned about going down with a shovel last year and the builders werent very happy and he wasnt happy they had been relegated to the car park. In short, nothing we already didnt know.

Could they possibly be doing a bit at the Diana, Princess of Wales Tribute concert at Wembley? Would fit in nicely!?

good point, would have thought we would have heard by now.. who knows Jon is good friends with Elton.

The artists are being chosen by Wills and Harry not Elton. I think they have piced artists Diana like and the ones they like. They obviously have no taste!
