Good stuff, didn't realise most people on Bebo even knew who were Bon Jovi - can't remember the guys ever wearing Burberry or making hardcore dance music...

The age perception cracks me up. When my daughter was 12 she wouldn't go to the Giants 2001 show with us because "she didn't want to see those old guys"! Two years later in 2003 - she couldn't wait to go to the Bounce concerts.

Haaa...."old geezer". I guess when I was a teenager 44 did seem old. Of course, now that I'm 42........not so old, lol!

I was one of those 12 year olds who was obsessed with Bon Jovi (especially Jon). He's 19 years older than me, but I never considered him an 'old geezer'. However, I do remember being a little embarassed about liking the band so much at a time when everyone else liked Nirvana. Now, they are so popular again that it's nice to be able to flaunt my preference. It's also nice that current teens consider them cool too...maybe this would've been nice when I was a teen, but then again I always liked that Bon Jovi was sort of my band and noone elses around me.
