The only journalist/interviewer with the guts to ask a question about the ticket prices is some guy in a morning show? Jeez, what's happening with the world

Yeah, your probably right about that, but I find it hard to believe he doesn't know about the prices by now. There's been enough publicity about it.

As this is going to turn into us lot disvussing Jon comments on ticket prices Ive started a thread Jon comments in TOUR FORUM http://drycounty.com/jovitalk/showthread.php?t=49600

Dawn
Speaking as somebody who speaks to CEOs every day, I will tell you now that they're all very much aware of their pricing, particularly for significant one-off events like that.

That said, I really don't think the guy had a huge amounts of say in the pricing, but he will certainly have known about it.

Jon Knew from day 1 what the price of tickets were, the prices of packages etc... If he turns round and says he didn't know, more fool him. Anyone with any sense of business knows the products they are endorsing!

Yeah, for most of the interview all Jon's replies were flowing, but when Phillip asked about tickets he was "um, uhhh, ummm" quite alot, a good indicator that he has no idea what to say and needs to make something up quick. :P

And we can count on Holly (later in the show after the interview) to say "Join us later when Jon Bon Jovi will be performing his new single" ... I cringe every time! haha.

Yeah, when I see Holly talk I do quite a few things, and cringing ain't one of them!

It was actually a really good interview. Good on Phillip Schofield for having the balls to ask him about the ticket prices. It should be interesting to see if anything comes of it.

And the performance was alright. It definitely wasn't mimed, it just looks as if Jon has got to grips with it. He looked completely uninterested but he sang it alright. Put some passion and energy along with the decent vocals, and some live music, and it should be good.
