Default BJ's popularity around the world?

Maybe a stupid issue to talk about but i just wondered if any country can match with us on this

The Best Selling Foreign artists in Finland

1. Queen Greatest Hits 131551
3. Bon Jovi Crossroads 120310 4* Platinum
32. Bon Jovi Slippery When Wet 73564 Double Platinum
64. Bon jovi These Days 64725 Double Platinum
67. Bon Jovi Crush 62506 Double Paltinum
114. Bon Jovi New Jersey 51126 Platinum
207. Bon Jovi Keep the Faith 37022 Platinum

Crush 2001
Still 4 weeks at number one in album chart and stay on the chart for 18 weeks.

And I know , I know how many albums BJ have sold example in the U.S. But keep in mind that only 5 million people lives in Finland.

Aloha !

Yes. They tour the US the most but they're the most popular in Brazil, Europe and the far east.

Sebastiaan

That's amazing! The proportion between those figures and the population of Finland is huge!

I couldn't imagine. Now I know why there are so many Finnish people around here :P

The singles don't really do that great here (they sometimes enter high but drop out after about 2-3 weeks apart from AALY) but the albums do well and the concerts are usually sold out or pretty near it anyway...

Their tours are always sold out in the US but they don't sell as many albums there.and they get very limited airplay on radio.US and Puerto Rico are somewhat of the same market so I always go with that.

They aren't popular at all here.

The market is pretty strange. I mean Iron Maiden made it on 2.Metallica on 1.
But people don't like normal rock.I guess Dire STrait's BEst of was the last Classic Rock album that did well here.

Bon Jovi had a lot of fans during the THESE DAYS and the KEEP THE FIATH days. There are a lot of BJ graffities from that days here. And i guess they did alos crack the charts there.THESE DAYS was about one year HEAVY METAL MAGAZINE CHART'S number one.

It's strange how they lost their popularity after It's My Life.I mean IML was number one for 3 weeks and was played all over the place BUT it did extremly bad with the MAIDNE/METALLICA audiences who loved them before(Mouse, say waht you want, that's the way it works here...)
