I've yet to see Young Guns 2, though it has been on SKY TV in England quite a bit recently I've noticed!

I'd watch it simply for Kiefer Sutherland, he's the man....

And as I type, 'Sante Fe' has just started playing on my iTunes. So awesome.

On my way to a salsa lesson tonight, I listened to 'Sante Fe' and I still genuinely think it's one of the best songs ever written by (Jon) Bon Jovi.
Heh, hey man, how goes it?

Santa Fe is indeed a beast of a song, and it'll probably take me an age to write a review for it ... bearing in mind the one for Wanted Dead Or Alive took about half an hour

We can but hope I guess .... maybe he'll grow out of this radio friendly modern pop rock stage at some point?

LOL, true.
I wasn't like attacking or anything (why does everyone take what I say so seriouslly around here? )

It really is.

Blaze is the best vocal performance (the whole album) Jon's ever recorded. I really love the album, almost as much as Slippery.

Seems like I'm taking a bit of a break from this at the moment while I'm writing reviews for Lost Highway, the Download Festival, Pearl Jam live, and most likely Hyde Park Calling this week ... plus trying to get my feet back on the ground after coming home, and looking for a job (although I have an interview tomorrow, so fingers crossed eh?)

But rest assured, I will return!

First off, a great review of a great album. Like a few other people i also think Santa Fe is the standout track. By a long way.

I guess being new to these forums means i may well have missed previous posts on this subject, but i think the reference that Jon's vocals on Blaze and LH show how much his range has deminished is a bit like comparing Richie's solo from Summertime to that of Wanted and summising his guitar work is not as hot as it once was! Each is different for a reason.

Don't get me wrong, i agree that the vocals on Blaze are stunning. The ones on LH less so. But i think LH was never going to be an album to showcase Jon as a singer, and it's unfair to compare it against a vocal masterpiece like Blaze.

Not meaning to tread on anyones toes, just an opinion of a fan. Anyways i have a few other thoughts on JBJ and his vocals but i guess this thread isn't the place for them.

Back to Blaze Of Glory. I think along side Sante Fe, the other standout track for me is Blood Money.

I agree that the vocals are amazing on BOG.

The standouts for me are Santa Fe, Blood Money and the seemingly underrated Dying Ain't Much of a Living.
