All other records were really poorly remastered. Pretty much all they did was clear up the mix here and there and make everything louder. A good remaster makes you hear things that were previously burried deep in the mix. No such thing happened with the Bon Jovi remasters. All they did was remove a lot of the dynamics in sound, but louder does not equal better.
Blaze has always suffered from poor mixing. Elton John plays piano and sings backing vocals on a few songs and yet you can barely hear him. If that one would ever be released as a 5.1 mix so we'd be able to hear separate tracks (vocals / guitars) I've a feeling there's stuff buried in there that would spice things up a lot and make it a lot better than it is right now.
