Agreed. The acoustic version of Never Say Goodbye (Not sure from when) is breath taking. The raw power and emotion that Jon and Richie convey in that version is amazing. I know it's not on that DVD but like you Kathleen that's what I use as a guideline for all Jovi Acoustic endeavors.

I'm gonna resurrect the thread 'cause I got the DVD for one euro yesterday. It was from a used records store, it was TLFR - but just the bonus DVD, but hey! The albums sucks anyway.

Wow, some of that stuff on the DVD is AWESOME. Love For Sale and Diamond Ring are probably the best, but they're all pretty good. Are there more than just the 6 tracks from the DVD? I'd love to hear some of the harder stuff unplugged. Did they EVER do Undivided?

I know they did a few other songs not included on the TLFR bonus DVD for AOL, Bed of roses for one. Think Prayer was the other one

It wasn't just Japan Kathleen. I got the CD+DVD edition here and it had the AOL sessions with it.

Really? I'm not sure it was ever released in any way in my country, though it was broadcast over AOL (which I have never had).

It's kind of like the stripped stuff that is on the internet now. I much prefer it to what was shown on Unplugged. I'd love a good quality version of it.

Well, it was a "limited edition" bonus over here, so not just Japan. What was Prayer like - MTV awards '89? Anybody able to hook me up with some links?

Blimey, I don't remember Dave having hair that short! He looks weird. I HATE his "so young" backing vocal bit.

Jon has a bizarrely emo haircut. He sounds really good on this. It's amusing the way that he can't sit still while playing

Why I'm talking about hair so much is beyond me

Those bits in the first chorus where everything stops are pure Rock n' Roll

Yes indeed that was the essence of this thread but you totally changed that now.
Just curious, wich of the BJ members would you sleep with?
