Matt...forgive me if I have this confused with another song, but wasn't the story behind this solo was that Bobby actually played it and it was recorded over the phone? Or did I dream that, lol!

As about Bobby - he is the definition of mediocrity. I guess that's ok, in the end, what more do you expect for $15? I guess, if I go to a gig, I want to hear someone who is a little better than Supersonic on his days off...so, Bobby will never do it for me. But he seems like a nice dude that everyone likes. So why not let him play those 3 1/2 notes that he can play and get on with it? In the end, Alice Cooper was considering Johnny Depp as a rhythm player, so why the hell not Bobby?

Did you click the attached link and check out the prices from the Beatles show you moron? The starting price was 25 bucks. I was referring to a local pub down the shore that charge a standard cover. And even if his top charge was 15 bucks, it has nothing to do with skill. He's not a celebrity and doesn't have the following.

Unless you go and see him perform an entire show live, you have no argument. There are not enough videos on YouTube that show what I saw the other night. I saw a guy playing guitar better then I've ever seen him play with Bon Jovi.

I THINK I remember Becky mentioning it but I could swear it was Jon recording it. The playing style just screams Jon to me.

IMO, Bobby delivers with his backing vocals and can fill the sound on some songs, but when it comes to solos, he's a disaster.

I'm quite fine with him destroying solo in Joey rather than in ITA and other songs. A rare solo here and there is ok (plus the covers). If he has to be there. Fcuk his vocals or whateverelse he is there for. They could have done it without him for 20 years, they don't need him now.

This was probably the best Bobby's solo in a BJ song... more than one note, it almost had a melody and resembled the original one. Amazing job for his standards!
