This was probably the best Bobby's solo in a BJ song... more than one note, it almost had a melody and resembled the original one. Amazing job for his standards!
Your point of "they could handle the vocals 20 years ago so why not now?" doesn't stand. I'm all for him being there vocally. Everything else about him is meh.

Anyone who takes guitar lessons for half a year can play that ...

Sorry but is he really that amazing? I don't think so. I just hate the fact they're sharing the stage with anyone else. Bon Jovi is a five-men band, no need for other people there. I was always proud that Bon Jovi can make it without any background singers and musicians. Unfortunately they took one, the worst possible.

And I'd prefer imperfect vocals (minus Bobby if you say he's great) and took great solos (not that amazing nowadays but still 1000% better) by Richie that what it is now.

Bobby can keep on playing private gigs and whatever, just don't let him ruin what is of of Bon Jovi.

I 100% agree with you. The guy doesn't fit in Bon Jovi, what I don't get is the fact that Jon gives him solos!! I just can't stand that!!!

Jon's voice 20 years ago, 1992, was flawless. The band was flawless. They were a different band back then. They try to be too polished today where they were so raw back then.

That's why they didn't need him 20 years ago

He doesn't fit Bon Jovi but the guy is not as talentless as you all think.

I can't believe that Richie would allow his solo's to be done by a hired hand. You would never see Slash hand over his solo's to the Rhythm guitar player!

Richie ain't Slash obviously.
Nevermind, I don't really have any problem with Bobby Bandiera, he plays with the band even if he doesn't fit as some of you say, I don't care, I still can deal with that. When I'll visit a live i'll visit it because I want to listen to Bon Jovi & see the guys live, no matter who is with them on stage.
Lorenza Ponce joined a violin player the band when? Around 2008 for Lost Highway tour if I ain't wrong and also performed in some gigs if i still ain't wrong of The Circle and she still playing with the band in todays gigs. For what do a rock band needs a violin player? Nevermind it sounds fine to my ears so i don't have a problem with that either. Bobby is a cool guy after all.

It's a question of different tastes, not an argument I want to be a part of.

But this:

Is Keith Richards an average guitarist? Paul Stanley? Sammy Hagar? Being a lead guitarist doesn't make you above average. Playng great guitar, lead AND rhythm does.
