I don't see how IML and Just older can be called classics... In fact IML is the ony song from Crush that was "ok" to hear live. Just older was awful. Crush is about as middle of the line as you can get, and not a rock record. But that's the difference opinion makes.
I think Just Older is great live!!
yeh i agree with Mike. Just older is a fantastic song. As jon said on the 2000 Crush Tour DVD. Its one of the Anthems that fans really seemed to anjoy at the shows so far. Its great when JBJ and RS hug each other!

Why do people feel the need to moan constantly about the last 2 albums?

I don't like 7800 Fahrenheit too much, but I don't complain all the time.

Crush is possibly my favourite Bon Jovi album, with Slippery When Wet a close 2nd, but I don't understand the huge fuss over These Days. Sure there are some great songs on it, but there are quite a few I don't like too much, whereas on an album like Crush or Slippery When Wet there is maybe only 1 or 2 songs I don't like too much.

Instead of complainging about what you don't like, and maybe putting newbies off the band, talk about things you do like about Bon Jovi.

I just don't know why you're all so fcuking negative.

its a discussion forum..not every1 agrees, we arent all robots :P
in response to McRock, i think IML has established itself as a classic in the same vein as Bad Name, and JO is great live, espcially after the solo when it all quietens down...and sometimes richie doe a few licks, great stuff

I don't think the band wasted their time.
I know I didn't think my time was wasted listening to that music.
If YOU think your time was wasted, move on. You won't be missed.
A lot of band aren't even around anymore - some shit bands, some good bands... but when a band is still around and their fans are the ones that shit upon them more than anybody, it's a wonder they even WANT to stick around.
With friends like you, who needs enemas?
DON'T SPEAK FOR EVERYONE - WE ALL HAVE OPINIONS AND YOURS IS NOT MINE.

I wasn't keen on Crush at first not i think its ok... I actually quite like Bounce. Its taken a lot of shit on these message boards but ive been into BJ for 11 years and I was genuinely suprised at it. I don't expect the albums to be as good as NJ or KTF anymore. All i listen for is ONE song that I think is a classic and would get into my all time BJ top 20. For me Crush had TYFLM (I like the ballads ok?) and Bounce had Undivided and possibly Bounce. I think Bounce should have sold more than it is but I think its back to the poor singles selection again. I genuinely think Undivided is the hit song that never was. If it was promoted with the right video (and I think some of the videos have been poor since 2000) it would be a hit. People say its too heavy for radio, but it doesn't seem to do Oasis or Linkin Park any harm!

I agree and again dnt. lol! on the lead up to crush (a few years lol!) i thought if it is anything like these days it will b good. the band seemed to be maturing with their music on KTF and these days and not writinig so much commercial stuff as they did b4, not that that music was bad, it was wot they were good at then. crush was a step bk for me, they tried to release another slippery but lets face it, without jons voice being wot it was, it was never going to happen, plus the songs ended up soundin poppy. bounce for me "could" have been a gr8 album. take out open all night and u had me from hello (like these songs r wot boy bands do!) put on no regrets, standing and another reason to believe and let richie have solos, t wud have been gr8. on all jovi albums up til crush, i cudnt say i disliked a song, i got the girl isnt the greatest, i cud make has corny lyrics as does save the world. few r border line. but open all night and u had me from hello r songs i cnt listen to, i cringe in embarassment! even all bout lovin u does sometimes. i just think they should stop messin round wiv songs, write them, record them and leave them, crush and bounce have been ruined by "tinkering". i do like these albums and dont understand wot ppl say bout bounce not being as rock as crush, mmmmm, richie goes drop d tunin on quite a few songs, has some mighty riffs and wot does crush have? mmm. neways wot do i know, 7800 deg and these days r my favs!
