thats an absurd comment.
whats absurd is to have basically 4 or 5 threads discussing one thing on the same forum.
yes that is asburd to, but it is more absurd to think of putting a ban on discussing two of Bon Jovi most recent albums.
Temporary ban. I just think the whole Crush and Bunce thing needs to be laid to rest for a while. As someone pointed out, Crush and Bounce are two seperate albums but it seems you cant mention one without the other

Crush and Bounce, are non-comparable to SWW, NJ, and even KTF. Why? In the earlier albums it was about partying, heartbreak, and homecomings. Now its about living life on your own terms, enjoying the overlooked simplicities of everyday, overall appreciation. I agree that the band would sound better with more rock riffs and power chords, however, the band gives us music that they enjoy. I don't love all of Bon Jovi's stuff, but every album has it's own story, every song has its own magic, and that is why NJ and Bounce are alike and different. For example, Undivided and Blood On Blood: they are both about unity, love, and moving on in life, but Undivided has those power chords, where Blood is more toned down in a way. But they are also so different, Undivided was written in the wake of 9-11, Blood was written in the wake of Stand By Me.
I also agree that we the fans are the best barometer of the band's performance, whether it be in the studio, on stage, or the material they present us with. We have the right to praise and criticize on all terms, on all fields with as much honesty as we please.
I LOVE this band, and nothing will ever make me disassociate myself with their music. A piece of me would die if they broke up, but that same piece would still live on through every single song, demo and performance I can get my grubby little hands on. Here's what I say to all of you, appreciate what they have given us, whether you like it or think they could have done better, it is a magical experience for strangers to touch you through music.

Keep The Faith baby,
Tiger
agree 100% there
