I think it's rather down to me dislikig those type of tracks (never been a fan of the hyped Sex Sells tracks or I'm Your Man on Burning Bridges) and that one in particular. Technically, it's not done too bad. Actually, I've found a way to create pretty spot on "dry" vocal samples for training AI Jon's of almost each era. It's quite easy to be honest.

I'm not to bothered about creating covers of other artists but as I said in another AI thread, I'd like it to be used on 2000's-onward Bon Jovi albums.

This could also be used for live performances, particularly live DVD's such as The Crush Tour.

This was nicely done. I've heard some that sound nothing like Jon or just don't match up correctly.

I actually think that this AI Version sounds so much better. It's not perfect but it does give you a glimpse of what it could be. I can actually understand the lyrics instead of Jon mumbling through them.

We are still a couple years away from perfecting this technology (at least with nonprofessional equipment) but it's going to get interesting to see what comes out.

Cool.
Is this in the original key?
I mean, back in the day, the song would also have been at least half a step higher, right?

Yeah it's pitched a half step higher than the original studio track

Thank you. So I thought.
I would say half of THINFS and 2020 would sound amazing a half step ( or even full step) higher. Nothing wrong with the songwriting IMO.

AI is a very interesting tool. I've been playing around with it quite a bit lately, and I must admit that sometimes the effect is surprisingly good. In the clip below (starting at 0:35) I've included some excerpts from well-known foreign and Polish hits performed by Jon (AI). My model is based on Jon's vocals from Crush and demos from the recording period of that album. In the future I plan to make several such inserts from what I have processed so far. Feel free to listen from 0:35

Thumbs down

I just find these AI generated things so fake and processed sounding, like when stuff is run through autotune but worse. It's unlistenable to me, and nothing more than a toy. They have a long way to go still. I'm sure there are better tools out there not yet availble to the general public.

I agree. I think they are terrible.

In order to make a good AI track, you need to isolate the vocals and then find someone (or an impersonator) to sing it as close to the original artist as possible.

There are some good Elvis ones out there because they use an Elvis impersonator who not only sounds like Elvis but also pronounces like Elvis.

You just can't take a Metallica studio track, AI Jon's voice in, and expect it to sound natural.
