Default BON JOVI ALBUM COVERS are they THAT bad?

I've heard some bad things about Bon Jovi's Album covers, even from the band themselves on some VH1 Behind The Music or somewhere...But I think the album covers really aren't that bad...

Bon Jovi: This album cover wasn't too good actually what's with that woman there? not even the band knows!!!

7800 Farenheit: well...I think this one has feeling....it captures what it should, heat!

New Jersey: Nothing wrong with this...

Slippery When Wet: I always get a good laugh about this one, the album cover was due in about a day, and then they noticed that the curent album cover had this pink frame....so they rejected it....and the night before it was due they got a photographer, and he wrote Slipper When Wet onto a trash bin, and that's that! HAHAHA
just the history of this album cover makes it the best! But otherwise, I think it has feeling.

Keep The Faith: Love this one!!! It's superb! no problem at all...it captures the album title and looks great!

Cross Road: Certainly no trouble capturing the title, no problem...I like this album cover.

These Days: I really don't know how to capture this title...but I suppose tit could've been more original, just the band standing there in a tropical environment doesn't capture the album's mood.

Crush: I liked the whole design to this one...the squares and unique photos, nice and original, and looks good.....

Bounce: INCREDIBLE!!!!!! I LOVE THIS ALBUM COVER!!! The powerful lightning and...perfect!!! love it!

........maybe I've changed my mind a bit throughout writing this, but I think the album covers really aren't anything BAD! Not perfect either but ... not bad...perfectly fine album covers..many people don't think so....

What do you all think about the Album covers

I think their album covers are pretty good, I especially like Crush cover. But wasn't it Jon who wrote the Slippery When Wet text? I remember reading that somewhere. And that there were going to be some girls washing cars on the cover (that picture actually is there somewhere, at least in LP, I'm not sure about the cd and can't be bothered to pick it up ) but they didn't want to sell albums with the help of the cover so they decided to change it.

Personally I think the Bon Jovi Cover is absolutely strange, never got why this woman was there and itīs also kinda boring.
7800°, Slippery and NJ are brilliant, those are all very original and fit the titles.
Crossroad, well the photos fit the title, but somehow I donīt like it. Itīs boring and they really could have thought of something more special.
KTF: perfect, absolutely perfect!!
Crush: great idea, new and original
Bounce: also great, although it could be improved!

All in all, I donīt know why people dislike their covers so much. I think they (or however created and designed the layouts) have done a pretty good job

I like them all too.

Bounce is pretty fabulous though, very good inserts and all that.

Same with These Days.

But Take a look at Crush
After Crush, there must have been a million bands that took the same concept for their own album covers. Jeniffer Lopez, Sum 41 and many more. Just go inside a record store and you'll see....

Im not that hot on some of the album covers to be honest. My fav has got to be Bounce quickly followed by Slippery When Wet and the Keep The Faith

Well... BJ's covers are not that good but not the bad either considering some even worse covers.. but not fantastic or fantasy covers like, let's say, Iron Maiden ..or Ozzy or ..Judas Priest..

But they are still ok.. I like the Keep The Faith covers with close second is "CrossRoad" cover. 'cos on the crossroad cover, it has some dreamy effect and laid down and rest feel on it....Looks like nostalgia feel on that one..

Keep the faith cover is showing the band united once again..So this one is the most meaningful one of all, i think
