BON JOVI ALBUM COVERS are they THAT bad?

The picture has to be on the web somewhere.. (not on yahoo, lycos, geocities) Then click on profile on the top left hand menu while you logged in.. Go to the signature section.. [IMG] your picture URL here [/IMG] ..

I like some covers they did. NJ, the real SWW, crush... they're all good. I don't know why Jon is upset about it

SanJovi, the picture under your name is called an avatar and can be choosed in the profile. Either you can pick it from Dry County's collection or upload it from your own computer.

Yeah, the covers are decent enough. Keep The Faith is my favourite, followed by, in no particular order, Bounce, Cross Road, New Jersey....in fact, they're all pretty good! Ooooh, this gives me an idea for another topic, if you'll all be kind enough to follow me to the NBJ forum.......

I think your SWW story is a bit off the mark...

In actual fact, the original SWW cover was rejected because it was too racy (back in those days) and Jon scrawled the cover as we know it on a wet garbage bag.

Anyway, as a graphic designer, I appreciate the simple but effective covers including Bounce and New Jersey - Crush was cool because it updated the "style" of the group.

Finally, I got all my pictures organized.

I love the KTF cover. It said a lot to the fans who'd waited out that first hiatus. I like the 7800 cover. I think it's pretty cool. Aside from that, the covers really aren't very good.

I heard this recently, about SWW.

On MTV there was a show about Slippery When Wet, and the band told the whole story about the album cover. The first SWW cover was a close-up of a girl's top, which was a yellow SWW top, and the cover had a pink border... And somehow the band didn't notice until very late, right before the album cover was to be released...You're probably right that Jon wrote the ''Slippery When Wet'', I have heard that on another show, I probably misunderstood.
Anyway they said they got the new Album cover in in time and started getting rid of the pink design ones, but many of the pink border ones were released in Japan
I gotta say the picture on that cover was nice , by my God the pink idea was horrible...I definetly like the official album cover more.

Anyone think there's something wrong with that story (the general idea, maybe I got some details wrong)? Then get some other version with evidence...
