Only boy bands fade away like that. Creed isn't one of them and even if you don't like Creed, they are still supporting rock and getting it more airplay. Airplay away from those boy bands and pop music. And as for Axl saying that. Does someone mistaking him for JBJ justify him saying that about the band? I think not

While Creed may be a good band, Scott Stapp is kind of a jerk (in my opinion.. Heh)

How does this fall together? I've heard Scott..many times..talk about how he hates touring and going out there and performing and wishes they could "just make albums" ... I mean, I've heard Tico say that he wouldn't "miss touring"..but he doesn't exactly say he hates it. Yeah, Scott has a son and blah blah but still..I think a lot of fans were sad when he said that. I just think that maybe he could have put better words to his opinion as not to make people... eh.. feel bad.

But I do love "What If".. just to add in that I like some Creed songs.

I have to agree with you. Some people say things and being in the spotlight you have to word things correctly. I think he just ment that he wants to be home with his son. Bands make their money touring so I don't think he ment anything bad towards the fans. Now Fred Durst, that's someone I can see how people could hate.

That's not necessarily true. I can't say that I am a Creed fan, but I certainly don't hate them. I wouldn't have anything against them touring with Bon Jovi. They just don't impress me in the slightest. I do think their songs sound pretty much that same though, too.

Jon has the ability to sing so many different styles and change his voice to suit the song. Look at the differences in the way he sings Undivided, She's a Mystery, and Prayer. His voice in those 3 songs are quite different from each other, yet Jon can pull them off with complete ease and make you feel the emotion of each song. I'm sorry, but Scott Stapp simply cannot do that. He doesn't have the range or the vocal ability Jon does. Yes, he can sing a fast song, a hard rocking song or a ballad, but no matter the tempo of the song, his voice is the same throughout. I'm not criticizing him...some people just have more natural talent than others. I have heard all of Creed's albums...a million more times than I cared too...because my roommate is a die hard Creed fan. Unless it was one of the released singles, I honestly can't tell any of them apart.

Was it really necessary to say that? Don't get nasty with people you don't know just because you don't like what they have to say. Mousebounce was just stating her opinion and isn't that what these boards are here for? There was nothing wrong with what she said and she was respectful to your opinions. Please return the favor.

Thanks Jovi-Obsession. I am glad the you noticed I was not trying to be nasty. I agree with everything you said about Creed, but hey it's a free country and I understand if people like them. As for Axl, what DOES he have to do with any of this? LOL Thanks again.
