Now that I saw both bands separated I think I like both lol

There is no source for that information. It's just a long standing rumour from waaaaay back, when Jon said he wrote some songs with Skid Row and people thought 18 And Life sounded like it could have been on New Jersey (apparently...)

If I remember correctly there is video when Jon is driving by car and sait - here we wrote with Skid Row "18 And Life".

Yep I think it was on BJTV in 2000.

Interesting thanks. Although he never says that "he" wrote it there, just that "it" was written there and that Rachel and Snake came over and played him their ideas for the song...open to interpretation though for sure.

I don't think he initially wrote it, but I remember either him or Dave saying that Dave came up with material to him and he'd give his verdict. I think he may have hand in tweaking the song because it has a Jovi feel to it, but I believe the story that Snake originally came up with it after having read that newspaper article.
