Iīm not insulting you. You said it yourself that youīre brother of Rob Thomas from Matchbox 20. Now deal with it.

Default update

Well so far in this inane little contest STUT is in the lead, though it is anybody's race with nobody yet having a 100% correct entry.
Prize update: 2CD set Down at the Crossroads and new still sealed Box Set plus miscellaneous stuff.

Default sadly no winner

Unfortunately all the kings horses and men couldn't come up with the right answer here

16 beatles songs have been covered by bon jovi
helter skelter
hey jude
imagine
give peace a chance
here comes the sun
hide your love away
with a little help from my friends
norwegian wood
a hard days night
birthday (you know it's your birthday)
help
i should have known better
back in the ussr
i'm down
golden slumbers (last three done by richie as a medley)
carry that weight
the end

There are recordings out there of all of these with most being quite decent

Stut was the best with 15 correct

incorrect answers from anybody:
hippy hippy shake - the swinging blue jeans
freebird - lynrd skynrd (not free as a bird)
twist and shout - chubby checker
shout - isley brothers
goin to kansas city - jay mcshay
thats alright mama - elvis
baby what do you want me to do - elvis

they have never done any of the following:
come together - not with bruce and not with aerosmith
happy x-mas war is over
i've just seen a face
for your love - yardbirds

The rolling stones are the 2nd most covered band followed closely by Dylan, elvis and Bruce

I was curious too how you could be so sure, I got 15 tracks listed myself, including some you did not post tonight.

Of course it is only by looking at websites of lists I got my information so it could be wrong, but who is to say which is more accurate.

Default ta

Got a bit bored so thought I'd try your trivia thing

A Hard Day's Night
Back In The U.S.S.R.
Carry That Weight
Get Back
Give Peace A Chance
Help!
Helter Skelter
Here Comes The Sun
Hey Jude
Hippy Hippy Shake
I'm Down
Imagine
Kansas City
That's All Right
With A Little Help From My Friends
You've Got To Hide Your Love Away

There are probably more that I'm missing of course, and since I don't know many Beatles songs myself some of those may not actually be Beatles songs.

I'd guess the other band covered a lot would be the Stones.

I think I addressed all of them from your list TA
as for "I've just seen a face", well I goofed, my copy of that show has the setlist listed differently, I'll have to dig it out and listen to it, I always tried to be meticulous but things happen. The only person to list that song as a guess listed far fewer than 16 songs total.
Ah well, so much for fun.
