Default Bon Jovi and the Jewish Religion

You know what... I have been thinking a lot about it and how do the Jewish people cope with the references with GOD in Undivided and Hey God? What do they think?? I don't know how Jewish people are to take it.... It is an interesting subject though and I would love some responses...

BOUNCE,
Ryan

What's the problem. The jewish people believe in the same God as we do. I don't think that there is a really big difference when it comes to the song Hey God.

David is jewish, too, by the way. And he for sure doesn't have a problem with it.

I am not trying to start a fight or anything... I just wanted to hear it from other religions state of mind, I thought it would be interesting, I guess you don't agree

I think religion is always a subject can turn to a fight unfortunely (just look at the planet), but i understand what you mean, and you're right, if we here on this board for the same reason, there's no need this topic turns wrong.
It's a question of open mind. I mean, we love BJ, their lyrics, their music, and for question of God (no matter of which God it reffers in the song), people just take it as they want, it's just words in a song you know, so if we don't look for something else deeper in the words, we just listen to these words as the others. That's what i think.

Another thing that came into my mind recently. I know there are some people from Israel on this board (at least one). What do they think that a song of BJ is inspired by a newspaper article about a young palestinensian (Hook me up).

I know we shouldn't start a political discussion here but this came into my mind recently esp. since I like the song very much and a good friend of mine is from Israel.

Jon doesn't say that his religion is better. our religions are differents, and we shall accept our differencies
