I don't have a source,.. just somewhere from the back of my memory. I remember reading something about 10 releases. The would tie in with the 2000 take over from polygram/mercury to Universal/island.

If I remember correct the record deal was renewed after TLFR before HAND? I've read it somewhere. Can't remember where.

But which label could mean something else. LH was released not by Island but by Mercury Nashville for the first time. It's a division of Universal - as well as Island / DefJam.
So maybe they are thinking about continue the way they started with Lost Highway? Or "go back" and release under the name of Island.

I swear I saw an interview, can't remember if it was print or video, done during the LH promo where Jon said that he and the head of IDJ made a new deal on a handshake after the head of IDJ gave him an ok to do LH with the Nashville label.
