Default Bon Jovi are ... more like Italian band!

I can see all this big discussion on the board about BJ rocking or not... but in my opinion they are very much Italian-like band....

since I moved from UK to Italy 11 yrs ago it was not difficult to find anyother band that wouldn't sound like BJ and would easily take their place in my preferences....

and here is a secret why they will never make it big in Italy as well...
Italians are masters of soft/classic rock, its harder versions and prototypes of romantic ballads....
BJ may still catch a few hundreds of fans here, but they -as a band- are very far from original material available to Italians so they are hardly percived as sth big anyway!

perhaps their music got sth to do with Jon's Italian roots? LOLoLOLOL

That was informative.
You can find bands that imitate Bj's style of music anywhere in the world.
Thoug odds are BJ probably influenced them.
You can also find traces of Jon and Richies influences in their songs, sometimes even more than just traces.

In Italy there are band that play BJ's style?
The only ones that approach BJ's style in Italy are Vasco Rossi and Ligabue.Stop

I agree w/Vasco Rossi and Ligabue, but there's large slot of BJ like genre here and one could enlist many artists including females: Irene Grandi, Laura Pausini, even Francesco Renga, Litfiba, Nek or Massimo Cataldo or ...Negrita. I'm talking about ALL BJ songs, not their hits where they display more originality.
Their ballads are very Italian like & I was intentionally mentioning Jon's roots to show that some of it might have come from his Italian soul, be it only 25% LOL

I do believe that's actually Bon Jovi copying music style of certain bands (rather american ones: Tom Petty, Springsteen, Aerosmith just to name a few)....they fell out of hard rock genre long time ago, right after TD, especially Jon with his Destination Anywhere...
since Crush they pop rock, and that's what Italians do so well! So they melt in here : the only difference is .. the language barrier, that's where they sound different LOL.

to play really good hard rock you have to be somehow verrry angry w/sth or someone, and BJ were only to the certain limit & so Italians do, they are very relaxed and romantic nation, and so is the BJ music in general.
but since BJ are really able to evolve withing each record (as for instance contrary to U2) they are always surprising me with new solutions and uncomparable sounds that do not echo any other other band or artist on Earth ) & that's probly why I did listen to them faithfully for past 20 years, still do like to listen to them great deal each day, anxiously waiting for each new album LOL

see ya

I hope you realize how bent and idiotic your post sounds.
Wild in the streets, Livin on a prayer, and Lay your hands on me, even 99 in the shade are rock songs.
they are not however angry

Yeah, you're right... I guess I should've started my post the other way around... but anyway you're talking about songs that belong to heavy metal era, now any pop song sounds like a good rock! and is not angry in anyway, over the years we got used to heavier guitars, that's all... that's why I'm talking about certain extent of anger in BJ music too, look at KTF & TD... listen to really hard rock bands that emerged recently and you'll sense the difference: it's aggressive rock, not entertaining "hopping" rock'n'roll we associate BJ with... amen LOL

what about "hehehe" sounds better?
You might find your ass for jokes somewhere else; there are plenty on this board... and I guess your one of them , we often laugh at and/or dislike ppl like ourselves LOL

...or I only suppose you haven't understood a single thing I said... so I'll clarify esp for you:
Here in Italy BJ is played mainly by pop radio stations, you won't hear HAND on rock station, no way; while fe in Egypt I've heard them only on rock dedicated stations... in UK or USA might even be different...every country has a bit different categories when it comes to music genre, TV has its own rules etc and so on...
Italian music is truly inspirational and I was happy to notice that BJ music fits here, so nicely melting into the background...got it? and maybe that's the saaaaad reason they will never make it big here too...

& btw have a nice day

But that doesn't make any sense to what you said before.

Nah, I'm just not a big fan of people laughing at their own jokes just a little too hard.
