Easily done when all your songs consist of about 5 chords.

And that's what you call a highly successful album?

Do you have attendance figures for the last Green Day tour?

You're a fan, you must know that.

Indeed, Billy is better actually. I've seen Bon Jovi in 2010 and he sucked ass.

Billy Joe is a fine frontman but if you compare Jon and Billy at their peaks then Jon wins hands down.

There was something a bit iffy about the change in image when Anerican Idiot came out. They suddenly all wore matching outfits and eye makeup, it seemed very contrived and unpunkish.

The thing is, Billy Joe admits he left the punk scene when they released Dookie in 1994. 1039 and Kerplunk are their only punk albums. So he never "sold out"... he just added a bit of pop to his rock.

Billy joe is a fine front man. But about a few songs into Green Day's set he gets on my freaking nerves!! It's not necessary to ridiculously extend every single songs mid section! It's fine for a few staples but his schtick gets old really fast. Other than that, the guy has amazing energy for a live show, but Jon's by far and away the better front man.

There's more to being a front man than shooting the crowd with a super-soaker. I've seen every Bon Jovi tour since 1987, and granted, things have changed, but I'm OK with it. Jon's older. But one thing hasn't changed - Nobody controls an audience like Jon Bon Jovi.

Billy Joe sounds like he's got a stuffy nose when he sings.

And I'm no music playing expert but his songs seem very simple. It sounds like the same chords over and over again on a loop.
