Yeah, but anyones got to be cooler than Hugh. He's a great bass palyer, but he looks like an accountant.

Someone said that it's silly not having Hugh as an official memebr after him playing with them for 10 years, which is true, but don't you think it would draw more attenton to it if they were to suddenly announce that he was to become an official member?

I think he looks kinda cool in a quiet, less rock kinda way ... a bit like Elton John perhaps.

Anyway, they could at least put the guy in the photographs

Never read much about Alec's history but didnt he have a motorboke accident that severed a nerve and he wasnt able to play as well as he used to? Then I heard he left of his own accord. I never heard the "he was shit and was fired" story.

Alec always had a gun on him, but that has never been given as a reason as the band being unhappy or firing him.

Maybe Hugh isnt a band member because he's also the bassist for Mariah Carey, Micheal Bolton, cher, Alice Cooper amongst others,
