LeeAnn Rimes (sp?) did most of the talking for the presenting--Jon and Richie just sort of stood there.

From what I'm hearing from the East Coast, Sugarland was on and they did not perform with them.

I think the newswires mixed up the performers/presenters list--unless they have some sort of big group sing-along at the end.

Yea, and on cmt.com they have their award as already presented prior to the telecast. Brad Paisley won! I'm not surprised but dang, I was hoping they'd win.

Honestly, Brad's song is better. But I was hoping that Bon Jovi had a shot since it was the first time a rock band had a #1 country song. And I also tend to wish that more artist/writers got awards. Brad does write some of his songs, but that's not one that he wrote. I like Brad though. He gets a lot of nominations and hardly ever wins. I'm NOT rooting for Brad for Entertainer or Male Vocalist of the Year though. I don't look for Keith to win those either b/c they know he's not going to be there to accept them.

Interesting that in the fan polls Brad's song was in fourth place. Lyrically the song is good but it never grabbed me the way I thought it would.

Aww I'm disappointed they didn't win but i wasn't really expecting them to anyway. And if they are voting for winners based on who will be there to accept the awards that is really pretty sad what to base your winner on. I can see Rascall Flatts winning the big awards or Kenny if they won't give it to Keith cause he is MIA. Off topic but i didn't know Brad Paisley's wife was pregnant. They are such a cute couple!
