Bon Jovi country record?

Dream on.

I actually just hope it won't sound like Who Says You Can't Go Home which is an embarassment. Good that it wasn't that big here in Europe. There's definitely country songs I like but they are all more somber and dark and are COUNTRY and not country-pop-rock. In any case, my expectations are lower than they have ever been. I probably will only download the album anyway and buy it when it's available for 4.99 euros.

What I think is funny nevertheless is the fact that Bon Jovi announce a "country record" (and don't tell me Jon has not said that cause there are several interviews posted on this board only where Jon says that) and now Bon Jovi fans say it's going to be a "Bon Jovi album" blah blah...and "Bon Jovi is about lyrics", not about music....shit...

I feel nervous about the next album, it took me a while to like Who says and just because it made number one creating a lot of interest I dont think a country based album will have the same effect. I have this feeling its going to be a this left feels right type of album and will concern many of the rock fans.

We will just have to wait and see.

read more closely. I said from what I hear,I never said that it's true, I simply said is that's what I heard.

I don't know, I haven't read any, there are however some interviews I've read where Jon says it will be country INFLUENCED, take that for what you will and chosse to think what you choose. But where he actually says it's going to be a country record, I haven's heard or read anything but second hand fan interpretations.
