Bryan only was as big as Bon Jovi during 1996, he's never been that big before or after. He screwed his rocky reputation with Waking Up The Neighbours, and later on with 18 'till I Die. Plus the release of all those ballads after another didn't do him any good either. Most people that became fan during the Reckless or Into The Fire era have lost interest years ago, and nowadays there's nothing rocky about Bryan anymore. Not even in concert, after 3 rock songs he slows it down with one of his famous ballads. He turned pop all the way.

gotta be kidding.... "he screwed his rocky image with waking up the neighbours...." and first you say "he only was as big as bj during 96, he's never been that big before or after"
my advice: take a look at the release date of waking up the neighbours!
and you also say that releasing all the ballads didn't he do him any good... remember his biggest (selling) hits (apart from summer of 69)...
and another thing: set list from the salzburg gig last sat.
1. there will never be another tonight (def. rock)
2. 18 til i die (rock)
3. lat's make a night to remember (played faster than the orig.- so it became pop)
4. can't stop this thing we started
5. somebody
than came a few ballads and after 4 or five of them he put on his e-gitar again- and btw- the best song imho was "fits ya good" which included a keith solo which makes richie look like an amateur and btw 2: bon jovi also release ballads all the time which are recently extraordinary bad and they do them really no good....
