if and when bon jovi does the super bowl, it will be like bruce and tom petty show with fireworks. which is what the halftime show should be like instead of the cirus that madonna and the black eyed peas did. just play music, bow, and get off the field, that's it. if bon jovi was smart they should sing 3-4 songs and not make it so complicated.
2013(if they have a new album coming out in the spring) and 2014(new jersey)seem to be the best opportunity for bon jovi to do the halftime show.

This, and I'm not just saying that because of my U2 bias. The funny thing is, though, is that Bono's voice was shot. Bad. But the passion there was outstanding. Funny how 4 Irish guys made me feel so... American.

The thing is, Bon Jovi's set could be very good or very bad. In my eyes, this would be a set they'd probably do.

Livin' on a Prayer
New(est) Single
It's My Life
Wanted Dead or Alive

As much as we'd all prefer that they didn't do IML, there's not a chance they wouldn't play it.

However, this would be fantastic.

New(est) Single
Livin' on a Prayer
Keep the Faith

3 songs. Prayer can be shortened to about 4.5 minutes, and Faith can run around 5.5 minutes. That's 10 minutes there... plus a 3-4 minute new single. 13-14 minutes there. Modonna did about 13 minutes.

But that would probably never happen.

The superbowl is in Jersey in 2014. Any chance that Bon Jovi can be the halftime act and we can get some quality entertainment?

Anyone have any insight on this. Can we start a campaign?
Keeping in mind they will probably have a new album in 2013 with a tour to promote in 2014 AND the fact it will be in New Jersey chances for Bon Jovi are not bad. Jon at age 51 by then

Set : prayer - bad name - IML - Who Says - NEW SONG - Wanted

Sod the Superbowl, I'm waiting for them to do the pre-show for one of the Wembley games. Maybe the Rams v Patriots this October would be a good choice......

Forget the pyro -- all Bon Jovi needs is a wall of amps to pull it off.

Madonna could barely keep up with her dancers, mainly because she's old enough to BE their mum. And it goes without saying that there's no way on this earth that she was singing live at the same time.

Of course she's reduced to trying to get by on doing glorified karaoke -- she can no longer get by on doing glorified burlesque.
