Idk about that. A poor selling album might be the end of Bon Jovi as a recording band, but they'll be able to continue touring as a legacy act.

They didn't sell out many venues on the WAN tour. This album is crucial to the future of Jovi.
If it's poor everyone will say that BJ are not the same without Sambora.
If it's great and going in the direction of We Don't Run and has a back to basics sound then that's great.

Disagree, this album won't mean anything as far as touring goes. That's where the money is. WAN didn't sell out every show, no, but it still pulled in huge numbers for a band that has had a string of flops since 2010.

I'm not trying to start a debate in this thread but why is everyone treating We Don't Run like it's a return to form for the guys? It's almost No Apologies pt 2. Heavy drum machine, synthy to the point of not being guitar heavy. It just sounds so post 2010 Bon Jovi, far more so than anything that can be considered early or mid. I can see the point that it follows the trend of It's My Life I suppose.

Because WDR was a lot heavier and had balls - which is something recent Jovi albums lacked.

Its not the best song in the world but its better (imo) than anything of late that they have released.

I am very much looking forward to the album. I am not someone who likes to 'grade' music. If I don't like something, I am sure someone else will. I am just curious about it.
Yes, of course I hope that I will think it is FANTASTIC but I will keep an open mind and see how it goes.

Hopes are that I will be able to go to a few concerts and enjoy them. I loved the show in Cologne in 2013 and had a lot of fun there. I am aware that Jon's voice has changed but I dont go to a concert even focussing on it. As long as my ears do not bleed, I am ok
I hope for many different surprises setlist-wise and I hope to see a band that likes doing what they are doing!
And I loved We Dont Run and I want to hear it live!

Hoping for a rocking album that blows everyone away. Highly unlikely you cant please everyone but im optimistic we all know what theyre capable of. I would be happy with another Burning Bridges but with a few less mid tempo songs and a few more uptempo rockers and I think this album could do well if they release the right songs as singles. If I like the album ill see em when they come to Australia

The songs that I liked most from Burning Bridges--Who Would You Die For, Fingerprints, Blind Love, Teardrop to the Sea, and Burning Bridges really have nothing to do with "going backward" in sound in my opinion. So I'm NOT looking for them to chase the "glory days" of SWW or anything like that. If anything the songs I like best would have fit better on KTF or DA when Jon was NOT chasing the hits of SWW/NJ or Blaze of Glory and just doing what he wanted to do, writing songs for the sake of writing songs. So, I, for one, am not looking for the band to go backward, but to move forward. I just want them to move forward in a way that involves the best songs Jon can write. And I hope those songs will have moments where they will both rock like we know he can and tear out our hearts like we know he can.

I don’t have high expectations for this one. Maybe because Richie is not there, but in WAN he wasn’t too, so..
I just want an album with more guitar sound on it. And I mean GUITAR, not that noise they have been using in the last few albums. Maybe Phil X could change this. Or not.
I really don’t know what to expect.

Bon Jovi has reached a point in your career where you certainly can afford to make mistakes?. Fans of all life all they want is get your hands on new material from the band, much rethinking a disc does not ensure that the material you are going to publish is excellent or success. I think that's the general thinking, but I'm not so agree. If not there is a change of direction, this will be stink, despite to continue debuting on the Billboard and remain number 1 tour of the year.

I do not want more pop albums with focus on sales. I want real rocker album or an album artistic that worth. But Jon is old and lazy for this shit.
