I agree with you. Yes, I know we have to take it with a gain of salt when Jon says something but it seems lately that no matter what the man says, people are critical about it. Apparently, to some, he is lying everything that comes out of his mouth. Of course, he is not literally there washing the dishes but I don't think that he is NEVER there. I do believe that it's mostly Dorothea, Stephanie and his Dad there but now and then, yes Jon will there. He has done many things without the cameras or press there and so it's not all publicity. Give the man some credit.
No, I'm not some gullible fan who worships Jon. I have been a fan for 23 years and know how he is but it just seems it's now OK to bash Jon, no matter what.
As for the interview, I liked it. He is always relaxed when he comes on the Ellen show. Ellen seems to like him and is obessed about his marriage!! she is just amazed that she has found a rock star who has been married for this long. When it was 18 yrs, she mentioned it. Last year at 20 years, she mentioned it and if he were to come on next year (which he won't, I'm just saying) she will mention that he has been married for 22 years. Every time he comes on, she mentions it. No problem with that.
