Do any of you here make music? (That's inspired by Bon Jovi amongst others, I guess )

And, what artists are influenced by bon jovi? I'm thinking..
Goo goo dolls, the calling, nickelback, JT (can't drink you away), maybe Thirty seconds to mars..

btw Kieets, just to stay on topic, read the conversation and there you got your song, LOL

I thought I remembered Nickelback saying something about being influenced by Bon Jovi, but I could've imagined that.

Myself, I make music, yes, and the kind of music I like and/or write is pretty influenced by Bon Jovi, of course I like me a good pop-rock song in the veins of LTOR, TWWTM, etc. It's just too bad that I can't write propery lyrics, and the ones that our previous singer wrote for the one song that comes to mind aren't really good...

JBJ tips lol:

"Don't push it. It might be a week or a month maybe a year. It happens. I've realized it's okay, so, I'll wait it out and start reading scripts or different books or sometimes listen to other records. Sometimes it's as simple as watching a movie. One line of dialogue can bring on a whole song."

Good advice. Though "listen to other records" put fuel the accusations of ripping off other artist
