I don't know why people get so upset with the POP label. It just means popular. Faith Hill is a country artist but also considered pop because she's a crossover. Bon Jovi plays rock, but are considered pop because they're a popular band. What difference does it make, really?

Becky, I know what you mean, but the problem is not really about a title, just in the fact that people mean by "pop" : non-rock, that's what i dislike.

I don't like to think that my favourite group is a pop group. Bon Jovi are plain and simple rock IMO. In the 80's you could call them hair metal, now we can just call them rock.

BJ class themselves as pop rock, Ive heard them say it in wuite a few interviews. I think they say it to please every one. Wonder what Bruce Springsteen would be classed as?

Actually yeah, I'd call Two Story Town a rock song. And probably the others as well. Not your typical rock song, no, but still rock songs.
