o,o I have tickets for the anastaciaconcert on this date...that`s not so funny. I would love to go to the band8.
but well I promised 2 kids to go to Ana so I hope my husband or friends will tape the band8.

It dosen't seem like the object is to raise loads of money. Entry will be free to the concerts and tickets will be given out on a text 'lottery'. It seems like the concerts are to raise awareness of the situation in Africa as much as anything.


I wonder if we will get confirmation from bonjovi.com about this because until we do, we can't be sure the band will be there!
I remember 'NetAid' a few years ago that was held a Giants Stadium - the organisers released that the band were playing, but it was never confirmed and they didn't play!

This sounds great. I went and checked out the website. I hope I get to see it on TV. Some great acts in Londan and in Philly.

Some of the others I have not heard of.

I want to go to Berlin I hope we get to see ALL shows over here, not just London and Philly.

win them ? yes that sounds logic....I wuld love to win tickets for London but I bet that only ppl from uk will get to london...I will then try Paris ...

But how can you make sure you are among those rocking out at Live 8 on July 2?

All five of the concerts are free but the size of the space available in London's Hyde Park - where the UK gig will be played - means that tickets will have to be distributed.

You won't be able to get in without a ticket and half the country is expected to try to get their hands on them.

The only way to get a ticket is to turn on and tune in on Monday, June 6 at 8am.

Radio stations and television news programmes will read out a question with a multiple choice answer.

They will give out a number for people to text their answer.

Each text will cost £1.50 and the money will go to charity.

The text line will be open for seven days, and you can text as many times as you want.

At the end of the seven days the line will close and a computer will select winners at random. Each winner gets two tickets.

wish you luck to get a ticket .. this time it's not just jovi fans that will want to be part of the fun such a huge list of performers you'll have to be lucky
