I would say more than Only in the US. Ask anyone to sing prayer and I am pretty positive that people know that chorus off by heart. From all ages and all countries. There is no way that Prayer is not a famous song around the world.

Nice strawman here - "knowing the chorus" is not the same as "top 10 best known songs".
