Can someone link me to Jon saying that? I've watched it a few times and haven't caught it yet.

Jon ****ing with Alec happens at 39:45

As far as I'm concerned, at least in the band context, this was the peak of Jon's vocal powers. So I guess if there ever was a time when he could demand top performances from everybody, it was then. But what a dickish attitude all around. Richie seems to just ignore it and keeps the spirits high, David is very uhm eager to please the boss, and Alec... well

Impressive that Tico seems to know when the chord changes happen - and to be frank, same for JBJ. I don't see Rikki Rocket or Vince Neil knowing the songs that well lol

And is that Cliffs of Dover at 38:40?

I don't know if it's that impressive considering JBJ wrote/co-wrote the songs. He damn well should know the changes haha. Tico though really shocked me given how many interviews have said he doesn't even know the song titles.

No. And I know what it is but I can't place it. I can sing the whole dam thing in my head but there are no lyrics so I can't search it.

The extent of Jon's input has often been questioned, especially for the Desmond Child co-writes, and him remembering the changes as well as David (who played them on the record) or Richie (who co-wrote too, plus played on the record) is still impressive enough. It's not like he plays guitar on that song live.
