I wasn't actually around for Crush's release, so it has to be said that I have not the faintest idea what you're on about. But anyway, are you sure that wasn't a record label gig? Besides, is it really such a bad thing?

If you are a loyal fan (i aint saying your not) you dont expect any band to release the same ablum 2months later with single versions of songs and the videos of the 2 songs. They only did that in the UK. While Oz and Japan get an extra track and a live cd.

Depends how you look at it I guess.... they didn't have the videos or the single versions at the time did they? So it could be seen as a little gift for the fans. They don't need to buy it if they don't want to, its not like they're re releasing it but not telling you the tracklist.... you know what you'd be getting, if you don't like it then don't buy, otherwise its just a cool thing for those people who really have to have every different album version, or those who haven't got Crush yet (BTW, the new version of Crush is the one that I have, and I think the videos are quite a cool addition... must agree that the single versions are amazinly pointless though)

Ok. I agree with who ever started this bounce and crush are two fantastic albums. Bounce esp its just differnt to anything else i have in my cd collection and has a very serious fell to it where as crush is about fun. Hell i have everyone at work now listening to bounce :P . I even enjoy open all night! i just like the album because it has various sounds on it compared to previous albums. I agree also that bon jovi HAVE NOT sold out and infact seem to be listening to the fans more than ever....we moan about set lists and all of a sudden its vote for the encore!. I dont know if this makes much sense if not ah well im tired and to damn stuborn to go to my bed

lol and very true. So what if if they used Max Martin on ONE song, it did happen to be their biggest hit off crush and bounce and i would never have known they had used MM just by listening to its my life.

Now then had bon jovi done a bryan adams and released a dance track over one of their hits, or maybe dueted with some rnb hip hop person to gain other fans, thats what i would call SELLING OUT.

and the whole argument about releasing other versions of their albums with extra tracks and videos, thats the record company's decision and happens with every artist. It doesnt mean you have to buy them.
