Goosie, don't say that. Don't give power to words. You have no idea how terrible 9/11 truly was, up close and personal. Believe me, we know we have problems here. As a culture we can be horribly arrogant toward the unfamiliar. We have a leader who is an embarrassment to the nation, IMO. But not everyone here is like that. Please don't wish that on us again -- no one deserves that, not even your worst enemy, not even the people who did that to us. America, like any country/culture, has a lot to learn about diversity and tolerance, but acts like 9/11 are not the way to teach those lessons.
America isn't just our media, or our leaders -- we're individual people, just like any country around the world. There's more to us than what you see on the surface.
