Well, I can't say I agree with some of the choices, but it seems as though you gys really did some homework, so I can't say you're uninformed. But, I got Marx's album, Adam's, and Velvet Revolver's....and I was extremely disappointed with all of them. Especially Adams. So short and yet still so monotonous. And marx is no chameleon, he can't just slip his rock skin for the poppy fluff on his new album. Comparing any of the song writing on Best Enemy with Hazard alone will prove this. Velvet revolver at least showed a lot of potential. Great vocals, great guitarist--they got attitude for sure, but I guess I am just not too fond of the music on the album.

Also, who are TMG and Seventh Key and these other bands? This site makes them sound like the best. Is it true? What are they like?

To each his own... Everyone will have their own opinion of music and we're not bothered by opinions of other people's taste it comes with the territory of running a music website.

TMG are a supergroup formed around Japanese guitar legend Tak Matsumoto - Who is known best with Japanese rock band, B'Z. B'Z have sold over 80 million units in Japan alone, making them Japan's biggest selling band in history. TMG features former Mr. Big vocalist Eric Martin singing leads on the project with Night Ranger/Damn Yankees singer Jack Blades supplying the Bass and backing vocals. This group has had huge sucess, in 2004, and their debut album: TMG - I hit the Japanese charts at number one.

Seventh Key is fronted by Billy Greer of Kansas fame and is a melodic hard rock band in the vein of Journey meets Damn Yankees. This group is a solid melodic hard rock group musicianship all the way.

For more info check out www.nehrecords.com as they have sound samples up.

www.shipwreckislandstudios.com is devoted to the rock genre itself alot of older acts but thats the music we promote - lots of unknowned or older acts like TMG and Seventh Key etc. Musicianship is the key thing we look for.

Well anyways - I'm out for now
Later..
All the best..
Jere
