i agree, bonjovi is one of the bands that always was in spotlight and always get attention whit every new album, i see some bad times for other bands with their albums, but all of bj albums make them more acceptable and they have always sold out their huge gigs.

Use your illusion was the most sold Rock album ever. It sold far more than SWW or any other BJ-album. As far as I know Use your illusion is still in the top 5 of all albums ever (not only Rock), it's at least still in the top 10. No BJ-album is that high.

RIAA is there only for the USA if you didn't know.

UNIVERSAL are worldwide.

BON JOVI and GUNS N' ROSES are both labeled at UNIVERSAL only GnR were by GEFFEN and BJ by Mercury...bothr are Universal companies now.

And SamboChris...APETITE is the biggest selling GNR album.
Both ILUUSIONS sold around 25 million...

GnR are right now somwhere btween 60 and 70 million.
With
APETITE - around 30 million
LIES - around 10 million
USYI 1+2 - around 25 million
SPAGHETTI - around 2-3 million.
LIVE ERA - 2-3 million
and i don't know how much the Best Of sold....Not vey much I guess...

of course this number are aproximated so take each time something out....

It is true that SWW was at one time the biggest selling rock album of all time. It was certainly one of the first albums to be awarded the Diamond award as well. Now I don't know if it is still the biggest today or when/if it was overtaken by Back in Black and or Appetite.
