SWW isnt "hard rock" at all is it?!

i never stated thriller was "rock" album, regardless, classing album sales by genre is slightly deceiving anyway

f*ck it! I can't find anythin' on the net to tell me what are the best sellin' albums worldwide, only for America!

So, I've asked the Oompas to confirm how many albums has SWW sold worldwide.

Among Bon Jovi peers (rock bands who started in the 80s) U2 is probably the most successful.

Although U2 actually started in the 70s (1976). Their debut record came out in 1980. So technically they're 7 years older than Bon Jovi.

But if we consider U2 Bon Jovi peers than U2 probably is more successful.

when i started this topic i didn't want to discuss who sold more and how they sold....it was just a consideration about being constantly AT THE TOP over 20 years...maybe U2 are even a more popular band but i think they never achieved the success bj had between 1986/1990...bon jovi was REALLY THE BIGGEST BAND IN THE WORLD at that time....anyway at least in the way i mean "most succesful" and "biggest"..one more thing...i didn't think about U2 but yes they are really close to bj speaking about having N 1 straight for 15 years and more.....

so if i change my points...is bon jovi at least among the most succesfull EVER?

In an interview with Jon from 1990 or 1991 the reporte tells Jon that only JACKO, MADONNA and U2 are more known names in music biz than Bon Jovi...I'll try to look for it and post it.

i'm sorry but do bon jovi only have 4 albums?

Of course not, but I replied to a post and there was mentioned that BJ sold 20.000.000 records in 4 years.....
well what's so difficult to understand? the albums up there total 9.5 million plus crush at 8 (?) million plus sales of the albums released before 2000. the total easily tops 20million.
