Default Bon Jovi nominated for BillBoard Music Awards

Bon Jovi Nominated for Multiple "Billboard" 2013 Mid-Year Music Awards.

With 2013 half over, Bon Jovi is among the veteran artists who’ve made a big splash on the album charts, on the tour circuit and in the news. The New Jersey rockers have been recognized in two categories of Billboard‘s annual Mid-Year Music Awards survey, whose winners are determined by online fan voting.

Bon Jovi’s What About Now has been nominated in the category of “Favorite #1 Billboard 200 Album,” along with 19 other releases. In addition, the band’s Because We Can tour is in the running for Best Tour honors.

Other nominees this year include Paul McCartney, David Bowie, U2 and Prince. Sir Paul’s recent set at the Bonnaroo festival is vying for the Best Festival Performance honor. Bowie received a nod for the Coolest Marketing Stunt prize for secretly recording his latest album, The Next Day; U2′s next album is up for the Most Anticipated Music Event of 2013′s Second Half; and Prince scored a Best Televised Performance nomination for his recent appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

Other categories on which you can vote include First Half MVP, Favorite #1 Hot 100 Song, Best Style, Best Comeback, Best Music Reality Show, Most Overrated Artist and Most Disappointing of 2013.

Cast your votes now at Billboard.com. Most categories also allow fans to write in a candidate. The publication will reveal the winners at the beginning of July.
