He was obviously distracted a bit as you can see his eyes darting around a lot at the beginning of the performance. I've watched my tape a few times and I don't think Jon performance is near as bad as folks here are saying.

I don't think it was bad Deb - it just wasn't up to their usual performance. Jon especially, was either distracted or feeling like crap or both. He usually shows much more enthusiasm.

I have a question

I know LH was broadcast the day after the other stuff, but was it all recorded the same day? Cos y'know, Jon's wearing the same clothes (that's a veeeery nice top BTW), and Ellen's still in bed and all

If they were all recorded the same day, it's weird how much Jon's performance differs between all three songs

My understanding is that it was all done on the same day. Someone reported on backstage, that went to the taping, that there was a some equipment issues a few times. So, maybe that affected Jon a bit as well.

I watched both days of course,lol!!I loved it I couldn't get the second day though I'm mad about that!!I did watch the show and,I can't wait for the album.
