Bon Jovi on Idol

Not a chance Bon Jovi will be playing the songs while the Idols sing it. Some contestants will make arrangement changes and there is no way Bon Jovi will learn to play their song differently just for this show.

In the topic about the new CD coming out on June 19th it mentions some of the promo work that the band will be doing to promote the new single. They list the idol performance as May 2nd which means the contestants will sing the bon jovi songs on May 1. This kind of sucks because it means I'll have to keep watching for another month before I get to see the one episode I'm waiting for. I'm thinking this means that there will only be about 5 or 6 contestants left by this point so that means we will either get to hear only 5 or 6 songs completely butchered or each contestant will sing 2 songs and all our ears will be bleeding! Hopefully Gina makes it this far because I think she is the only one with the ability so sing a bon jovi song half decent.

All the singers that are going to be left though, are going to be very good!

I can't wait for the Bon Jovi episode. Whatever they sing must be recorded and put on a CD called "This Left Feels Wrong".

No, but that definently doesn't mean the songs will be butched. She's a professional singer and I bet you'll be surprised!

Not sure how true this is, but I just heard on the radio that Bon Jovi will NOT be performing, just judging. On that episode, Chris Daughtry will be performing.

interesting but didn't the press release about the album talked about jovi promoting the song how to promote a song without performing it ?

I don't know ..i don't like the AI idea anyway a real shame they have to go that low
