I went back and watched that miniscule part of the interview again, and I really don't hear Jon bashing David. What I hear is Jon answering truthfully about a question he was asked about the wrting of a song on the record.
A ffriend isn't going to be pissed off about a friend telling the truth. Did it need to be said??? Maybe not, but Jon was asked a direct question about it and he answered it, what would you have had him say, "oh yeah Dave wrote all the lyrics and half the melody, blah blah blah" when that wasn't the case???
I just think that some of you go out of your way to look for anything to bash Jon about, like there's a "it's cool to hate Jon club" or something. I by no means think he's perfect or that he always does the right thing or whatever but I do think he must be doing something right, he's had the same bandmates, the same girl, the same friends, hell he's had the same people working for him for years and in my life experiences all that doesn't happen if you are the arrogant asshole narrcisist that some of you want to believe Jon is. Money only goes so far, you can't buy the loyalty, respect and acceptance that Jon has from all of these people.

While you made some good points, I really hope you weren't reffering to Bongo and I, because that could not be further from the truth. We've never gone out of our way to bash Jon, we even defend him most of the time. It's just something that really bothered us.
I can't speak for her but I know she's done with the matter, and frankly, so am I. I don't think Jons an asshole. He's just a guy that had too much wine and talked a little more than he usually does. The sun still rises and the moon still sets, life goes on, I don't care anymore. Done.
