Holy crap man. Who is this moron with the holier than thou attitude? I don't typically wade into discussions like this but I'm getting sick of seeing thread after thread getting derailed. Come on Rdkopper. Learn to take a bit of criticism without getting so defensive about everything. Not to mention that this is a DISCUSSION board, not the "I'm always right" board. Sure there's a ton of immaturity being thrown around on this board, but for a 38 year old, your responses just reek of immaturity. Yet you're oblivious that everyone else here is taking advantage of you because of this.

But wait. What do I know since no one likes me and I must be a Seb ass-kisser. Give me a ****ing break. This was an interesting thread before you came in.

So If your cool with statements like Prayer wasn't played at a JP concert becasue it wasn't heavy enough or Jon grew a beard to fit this imaginary mainstream heavy metal popularity, that's your choice.

Hah! This is what Rdkopper understood from the whole conversation. This is hilarious! Clap clap clap Rdkopper.

This reminds me of when I talk to my dog, I always ask myself "I wonder what he understood just now!". He is all happy and runs around and stuff but I never know if he gets anything of what I tell him. Then again, I bet he would have understood more than that Rdkopper, a lot more. Not surprised, just amused

Anyway guys, that was fun etc etc. Can we get back on topic.

Is there any press coverage of this at all? Any reviews of the concerts? I am a big Priest fan, they can be unbelievably good live. They can also be absolutely rubbish. Last time I've seen them they kicked so much ass, unbelievable.

There is an interview with the Scorpions saying that back in 1984, Doc McGhee used to send Jovi out and make them watch the Scorps perform after their gig. And Jon would be there taking notes and really study them. Any of that with Priest? Back in the 80s, Halford was one hell of a frontman.

Also, the Scorps say that other than Runaway, most of the songs were average and didn't go down well with their crowds but over time, their energy was making up for it. I love these little insights that bands provide on each other. That was the idea of this.

As am I - this used to be a decent discussion board. I have had Rdkopper blocked almost from the very beginning. I wish others would do the same.

If I'm the problem let me refer you to the new release section. Kubas review topic. Please see Panda getting told off for being an asshole. Next the tour section Richies rehearsal song topic.... Supersonic being ripped apart for being an asshole.

I'm just calling it like it is. You don't like it, block me like that old bat did

This is interesting. Do you know when that statement was made?

Well, this is all quite fascinating. Anyway, not that I want to get involved in all this, but I remember an interview with David from one of the band's VH1 shows (I believe it was the SWW Ultimate Albums, but it may have been Behind The Music) where he talks bout the JP audiences reacting very badly to Runaway, and jokingly saying it took two kids at a time to heave garbage at them, so I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility to think that Jovi may have left certain songs off the set that they thought didn't fit.

Yea, they knew an unknown song they never played live didn't fit. Buy yet they kept Runaway in.
