I'm not sure of the exact run date, but I know that most, if not all shows were played before Slippery was released. WFTWM was played before The Circle was released and it was never a single or intended to be released as one. In a similar fashion, the band were just playing some new tunes off their new album. I think Jon or Whoever back then, definitely had them playing more rock stuff. Common sence says not to play NSG to a JP audience. I really don't see it being the same with Prayer. I just don't think they were ready it yet.

Does anyone know the song order completion time for Slippery ? The order that the songs were completed?
I'm trying to find the exact event WFTWM was premiered at but wasn't it some convention that was a totally appropriate place to sing it? I don't think it was just about playing a new song at a random gig, it was the perfect song for it. Can anyone clarify what event it was?

Yeah I do remember. It was for some sort of convention and they did it acoustically. I remember thinking it had a very similar riff to living on a prayer and thought "this song's gonna be great full metal". How wrong....

Actually I was in Rdkopper's corner (even tho I didn't always agree with him) until he attacked Kathleen. However, I think those of you who have signature pictures attacking Rdkopper should move on and change them. At this point they are a form of bullying and we should be better than that.

This would be an extremely wise move guys...None of this is helping matters. This personal war with each other really needs to end...

Thanks a lot, Kev. It'd be nice to have some civility on this board. Sadly, I don't think that's very possible.

I never thought anything of that song. Those lyrics are so bad that they hurt. Surely, someone must have told them how bad they are.

Anyhow, I am really surprised there is so little coverage of these concerts with Priest. There is loads of stuff about the Scorpions and Kiss and I always thought that Priest somehow completes that trilogy of headliners that Bon Jovi were somehow 'proud' (not sure that's the right word) to have been opening band for. They never really mention .38 Special or Ratt ever and ZZ-Top was just a one-off. I guess Scorpions and Kiss were both longer tours. Still...
