Not sure if he's drunk, but he sure looks like hell.

As for people being pissed that they're not taking a longer break, get over it. Jon's a work horse. We know he doesn't like the traveling part of touring, but being on stage is what he loves. This is his world. Should they become a Motley Crue and release a new record every 10-12 years? The Circle was released over 2 years ago. Some artists pop out an album per year. By the time the new record gets released, it'll have been over 3 years.

The interview was taken just before or just after the Biker's Bash concert, and Richie looked everything but drunk during that show! (except for his granny-style hair!)

I agree with you about the stop. I don't want them to stop for years and years, in order to produce some new great songs: if they want, they'll put put a great record tomorrow! They don't need to wait a decade to do it! The problem is: do they want to release a great record (like Faith or TD) or just another simple record? I think they don't need this long stop to give us a great album!

Jon knows very well what are the songs that we love! And these songs are the ones like Dry County and These Days, and I'm sure they still know how to write these kind of masterpieces!

For the 30th anniversary... so that would make sense with or without new material. Bit knowing Jon, he doesn't want to tour without a new album, so...

Actually we don't know the level of process of making music: Richie said he and Jon were recording, but that's saying everything and nothing: they could be recording new songs, but also can be in the studio just to write or play music and see how the next record should be! I don't think this new album will be published in 2012. We will see it around the Spring of 2013 so they're going to do another tour to celebrate their 30th anniversary, around 2013/2014! I suppose there's gonna be a dvd or something for the fans around that time...

He wanna beats Axl's record with Chinese Democracy, so his new solo album will be out in 2020... Maybe 2021, who knows

I think Jovi need another 2 years break.

Cant help but feel if they release an album in next 12 months it will be all the shit that didnt make the Circle.

You realize by the time this album is released it will be AT LEAST 3 years since The Circle. That's a long time.

Besides, as anyone following this band knows, they don't always put the best songs on the records:

No Regrets, Edge Of A Broken Heart, Borderline, Love Is War, Starting All Over Again, Save A Prayer, If I Could Make A Living Out Of Loving You, Neurotica, Outlaws Of Love, Dirty Little Secret, Nothing, All I Want Is Everything.....
