First of all:
Tictoc - Aye he apparently beat his ex. I mean everything said about footballers is true. Every single one of them has been accused of rape or something else. Tell you what, though, mate: I couldn't care less. Scoring goals for my club is all I care about, alright?  And secondly, Bon Jovi played a four minute slot on a huge television show tonight for promotion, which has done them more good than bad. That obviously means Jon's a prick and rock 'n' roll torn denim jeans etc. is dead forever. It's been dead for a long time, people. And as far as U2 are concerned? Well...less said the better.

Shouldn't be surprised at the overreactions on here. I really enjoyed it but then I watch all of the X factor and that nonsense, I can use the excuse of it being for betting purposes!
What would people have preferred, a performance of What Do You Got that we would have forgotten by now? The contestants didn't do much- the sang the bit the crowd normally do anyway. It connects with the young viewers of the show and the different demographic to us. They need to appeal to casuals and new fans to buy the CD and tour tickets. Can't say they have sold out- they did that in 86! They are a popular mainstream band- unfortunately shows like X Factor and the like are the mainstream nowadays. The miming is a non issue- it's a TV show, not a Jovi gig, they have a 5min guest spot on someone elses show, so they may have to mime. Everyone does at times, that's television. Although it was a live vocal from Jon. You might actually get youngsters at school talking about the performance and downloading Livin On A Prayer in the morning. It certainly wasn't the embarrassment some people are saying. Wagner FTW
