I was about to say this. I was just in Myrtle Beach for 3 weeks and I went to the Hard Rock Park. What Deb said is true. It's a shame because it was neat to ride the coasters of the artists who they tributed like the Eagles, Led Zeppelin, The Moody Blues (who I love-- don't know if anyone else likes them), etc.
Not sure I understand why they didn't do it either. It was great publicity fot the bands that did it. They sell your merchandise, they sell specialized t-shirts just for the ride themselves, as you're waiting in line they play your music and show videos and they also play the artists' music on the actual ride.
